SURVEY SERVICES

So, I have reviewed the list of suggested resources for creating tests and surveys, and I am ready to share the advantages and disadvantages of three of them.

QUIZLET.

+
• From flashcards that are easy to learn foreign languages to games on any topic, Quzlet has a variety of tools that will suit you.
• Quizlet breaks down subjects and topics into parts to make it easier to remember and make mastering the material step-by-step.

-
• Too easy and boring for students of Intermediate level.

SOCRATIVE.

+
• Allows teachers to develop their own quizzes for their students or choose some of the standard quizzes for classes.
• The answers of the quiz participants help teachers analyze how well they have mastered the material and assess the extent of their knowledge in order to transform and improve the curriculum. Teachers can draw conclusions about the presence of successful and lagging students, about the performance of the class as a whole, and track the change in these indicators over time.
• Classes become more interesting and fun, easy to use and a large amount of data that is collected not manually, but automatically by the program itself.

-
• To create a quiz, you must have a special app for teachers installed on the teacher's mobile device. And for answers - an app for students.

GOOGLE FORMS.

+
• With Google Forms, you can not only quickly conduct a survey, but also create a guest list, collect email addresses for a newsletter, and even conduct a quiz.
• The local collection has themes for all occasions. You can also create a theme yourself - just upload a photo or logo, and the Forms will automatically select the appropriate color scheme.
• Choose question types, from simple text boxes to complex scales and grids. Add YouTube videos and photos to the form. You can also configure the form so that respondents get to different pages depending on which answer option they choose.
• You can easily create, edit, and fill out forms on both your computer and mobile devices.
• You will find statistics of responses, including in the form of a chart, directly in the form, and responses of respondents - in the automatically created Google table.
• You can work on the form not alone, but with someone.

-
• The Google form starts to lag if it is overloaded with a large amount of information.

At the end I would like to share my survey with you: https://forms.gle/er9s9i5ovH1PHEy87

My personal opinion about groupmates' blogs

Greetings! Today I want to share with you my top-5 students' blogs, which were created during our course this semester. So, here we go! 1.  SET:SINGING ENGLISH TOGETHER This is one of the most beautiful blogs created by Varya Gorbacheva. A pleasant color-scheme, stylish interface - all this the girl tried to do, and it turned out very cool. 2.  Phonetics - Take it easy! A blog created by my groupmate Maria Slesareva looks pretty nice. It has a thematic interface (background), a nice palette of colors and nothing trashy in the text - you should visit this site. 3.  I WANT TO SPEAK It is very positive-oriented and friendly blog. In each post the author asks just one question, which makes you smile, because we see that a person isn't indifferent to the users who visit his site. "How are you?" 4.  LaLaLanguage Nice interface, nothing superfluous, everything is very carefully and efficiently done. 5.  SpeakEverywhere A blog created by Polina Samoilovich has a thematic head

Bookmarks

Frankly speaking, I've never being in need of usage third-party services to save bookmarks. Every time I found a useful resource, I added it to my browser bookmarks (in my case, it's Google Chrome), but then I didn't need this site, or I visited it, but rarely. After reviewing the list of suggested services for saving bookmarks online, I haven't chose anything: everything is too complicated and I need to sign up there. For me the most comfortable and free resource is Google Bookmarks .  Google Bookmarks   is a free   online   bookmarking   service available to   Google Account   holders. It is completely separate from browser-based bookmarking and should not be confused with the Bookmarks function on any popular browser,   Google Chrome   included. Google Bookmarks was launched on October 10, 2005.   It is a   cloud-based service   that allows users to bookmark   webpages   and add   labels   or notes.   The service never became widely adopted by Google users. Users can

WIKI

Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Wiki is a type of server software that allows you to work with data on a remote server on the Web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content. At the user's level, a wiki is a website with an “Edit” button. Clicking the “Edit” button allows you to edit the current page and save it for other Internet users to see. Like any other website, it is accessed through a website address, also known as URL which can be bookmarked and shared. It can also be accessed from any device with an Internet connection. Technically, a wiki site is not different from any other sites, with one exception — you and your students can create and edit it together. Wiki is used for collaborative publishing. A group of co-authors can freely add and change the content of the wiki website: rewrite texts, add new texts and images, add and link pages and more. To do so, the group needs a
